Amazing, summarize a video in seconds. There is a lot of knowledge on some many videos, you will optimize your time as ever. Epic extension.
It consumes a lot of resources. My browser becomes slow when I use this extension. I recommend disabling most functions to obtain better performance and only leaving activated those that you consider essential.
Translation and the highlighting feature work perfectly for me, plus it's free! Definitely a 5-star, thumbs-up from me.
Very cool plugin. It does an excellent job with videos <20-25 minutes, and the prompt is customizable. I connected it to openai with an API key and it hits the context limit for GPT-4 around 20-30 minutes of a dense podcast or interview style video. I'm excited about what it might be able to do in the future.
I'm giving Glarity 5 stars because I find it very useful. This extension provides helpful AI-generated summaries of YouTube videos and webpages in multiple languages. I like how I can easily get the key points without having to read or watch the full content.
It's great. What I like most is that you can configure the summary prompt yourself, click the icon, and summarize the content of the web page is fast and good. And there are three modes to access, Glarity, GPT web, GPT api, there is always one for you.
works well. but not a fan that it pretends to be free, yet only works a few times until it forces you to make an account. so then you make an account and it literally works one more time then asks you to pay. and $15 a month? not worth it. "Straightforward, transparent pricing" is a joke.
If I could translate only a section of text, that would be great. I tried to use it on YouTube, and although it could translate, the whole page got stuck.
The toolbar icon do not work after icon update
Just restricted the YouTube summarization for non-Glarity users, so I can't do more than 30 minutes even with my ChatGPT account. Not cool.
